I know I said I'd have new content for this page in the new year, and it's now 2020. Going to have to wait a little bit longer though. I did finally make a new page called The Rollercoaster to move discussions on depression, anxiety, and mental health to. I'm sure there will still be a little crossover between the two pages, but I think keeping the subjects separate is better. Anyway, I will return with new material later this month hopefully. In the meantime enjoy the memes and shared posts. Happy New Year relationship theorists!

Never to old to learn a new term. Alterous attraction. Apparently well known in the Ace/Aro community, I somehow do not recall having heard it before. I think the overlap with the RA community could be significant! Definitely fits in with my general theory of relationships. Very well so actually, I still can't believe I haven't heard this term before. When I resume writing original content, I'll try to fit this concept in there along with everything else I already had/have brewing in my chaotic brain.

I know this page has been pretty quiet lately, but I am returning soon. A sneak peek of things to come: Alterous attraction within a framework of relationship anarchy. Finding this term last week was a bit of a zeitgeist moment, as I hadn't realized it was something common enough to have a term. Literally thought it was just another one of my quirky idiosyncrasies. Haven't quite gotten the thoughts to coalesce into a coherent article yet, but I'm feeling optimistic that I'll have something for later in the week. Cheers!

So I know I said I would write an article about how Alterous attraction fits in a framework of relationship anarchy, but I've realized I can't do this very well without first revamping and explaining my Theory of Persons. You could say the Theory of Relationships is simply an extension of the bigger, more complex Theory of Persons. I wrote a few articles on some of these ideas way back when I ran huri.net but most of those articles were from over half a lifetime ago for me. I've changed a lot since then, and my views on the human experience has evolved. It maintains the same foundation that I first wrote at the age of 15, and then posted on huri.net between 18 and 25. It's just more refined, and better defined (and unlike the version from back then, I won't be touching on the Theory of Reality, as I think that's definitely outside the scope of this page.) Anyway, I'm rambling. I think for my lunch break tomorrow, I'll start writing the new version. When it's ready, I'll post it as a note on this page. Once I've written that, I'll return to the alterous attraction article, which will build on the Theory of Persons and will try to explain why I find relationship anarchy to be the best framework for building relationships. Anyway, I am still here, still have a lot to say on these topics, and just need to get it right. Please be patient. I hope it will be worth the wait!

This was actually a meme picture I shared, but as it was only text, I'm going to type it out.

If you think I'm flirting with you, I'm just being friendly.

If you think I'm weird and I make you uncomfortable, then I'm probably flirting with you.
