Well, it's been a long time (14 years), but huri.net has been rebooted (again)! Read the full post for more information on the reboot and the plans going forward.
First off, for the first time in its history, I'm not using a CMS that I wrote entirely from scratch. I decided that was just silly with so many good options these days, and instead made an extremely customized Eleventy installation.
I'm not finished with the site reboot quite yet, but it's now stable enough to be considered back online. I'll be slowly copying a bunch of the original content from some of my Facebook pages into posts on here. And will be using this place to post most of my general commentary about the state of the world, even if I link to it from my various social media accounts. It's going to take a while to get all the relevant stuff from my pages copied over, so they'll likely start appearing a few at a time.
Anyway, it's good to be back, and I hope to have a lot more to share soon! ~tT
