I just finished reading this document. The fact that this case ever made it as far as the CBSC review board is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard!
The person who sent this complaint should be locked in a box with no access to TV, radio, or outside influence of any kind if she's so offended by the Trailer Park Boys. If you don't like it, don't fucking watch it!
Some people are stupid, some people suck. The person who made is complaint falls into both categories. It's a good thing she hasn't seem some of the other episodes of Trailer Park Boys, where Trinity is asking for cigarettes (yes, Ricky's daughter is addicted to smokes, and even wears the patch) or the ones where Ricky's told that she got into the booze again, or ate some pot brownies.
If scenes like that are "child abuse" then we'd better ban reality, as that's life. Get used to it. If it offends you, don't watch it. That's pretty fucking simple.
Finally, one last message to stuck up assholes who think their opinions should come over the rest of the world, who think that censorship is a good thing:
