Well not only is the main site restructured, but the backend code of huri.net has been completely re-written. The Gallery, Cyclopede and Infinode modules are totally gone, and Linkage has been ported to the new Websight framework, so jargon, XIE, Spin-A-Story and this page now all use the same modules. Yep, now the side menu is actually a Linkage list, as is the index at Jargon, and the reference lists in XIE. The actual Jargon pages are metadata listings. The new Metadata format is also used to store page settings, links, and pretty much anything else.

I was going to rant on about finally having made the template parser understand nested if statements, but decided not to.

Now that the site has a far more natural and easy to expand layout, as well as having finally made dynamic indexes possible, I guess I'll be updating it a bit more often. Jargon is going to be first, since I really should finish off posting the last of the SEA Wars strips.

I kinda got a bit frustrated with Jargon after I thought I'd backed up everything before reinstalling my computer, but forgot to back up my Gimp directory, so I lost over 100 textures, several gradients, cool brushes and my custom palettes. Crap. Oh well, I'm sure I can rebuild the collection shortly... God bless Google.
